Calculate Crcl0

Purpose

The Calculate Crcl0 function is used to estimate the Creatinine Clearance of an individual based on their age, weight, serum creatinine level, and sex. Creatinine Clearance is a measure of how well the kidneys are functioning.

Calculation Steps

1. Subtract the age in years from 140.
2. Multiply the result by the weight in kilograms.
3. Divide the product by 72 times the serum creatinine level in milligrams per deciliter.
4. Adjust the result by multiplying by 0.85 if the individual is female.
